Wow, time really does fly - I had no idea! I've been so busy with the holidays I haven't had time to write and tell everyone what I've been doing.
Thanksgiving was fun. I dressed up as an Indian for our Thanksgiving feast at school. The other 4 year old class was the Pilgrims. I like the idea of Thanksgiving more than I actually like to eat turkey and all the other things. We had 15 people over to our house for dinner and then another family joined us for desert. It was quite a party.
Then it was time to get serious about being good for Santa. I must have done a pretty good job because Santa did bring some presents. But before that I was a Little Angel in our church's Christmas pageant. Our little choir sang a couple of songs. Mommy and Daddy said they were proud of me because I sang so loudly. Then Mommy, Marie and I met Daddy for lunch so we could all see Santa together. I made a book for Santa so he would know what to bring me. He was very good about looking at all the pictures and talking to me. Marie didn't like him. When Daddy put her in Santa's lap with me, she just screamed. Silly girl...she'll learn.
On Christmas Eve the Little Angels sang in the church service. Then I was a shepherd in the nativity scene. I got a litle bored standing up there so I used the shepherd's crook as a machine gun and pretended to shoot everybody in the congregation. I was having fun, but one of the ministers told me I had to stop.
Christmas was so fun! I had lots of presents to open and new toys to play with. Then both of my grandparents were here for dinner so I had lots of people to entertain me.
One thing I was very worried about on Christmas Eve was how to get a birthday card to Jesus. But don't fret - I have figured it out. I am going to find someone who is about to die and give it to them. Then when they get to heaven, they can give it to Jesus for me. Doesn't that sound like a good plan? I thought of it all by myself.
Bye and Happy New Year!
